Plastafab has been trading as a leading manufacturer of stationery, packaging and promotional products in Australia since 1962. Plastafab operated as a division of Printers Trade Services until being acquired in 1994 by Mr. Len Hammond.
Len Hammond moved Plastafab in 1995 to substantially larger premises in Robinson Avenue, Belmont Western Australia. Over the next several years the company experienced significant growth with many new customers taking advantage of the additional products and services added to the company’s portfolio. During this time, Mr. Jim Mitchell joined the company as a partner taking on the role of Manufacturing Manager.
In 2006, Plastafab again required larger premises and shifted to Belgravia Street , Belmont, Western Australia. This allowed for additional manufacturing machinery to be installed and again added a significant increase in Plastafab’s manufacturing capabilities and performance.
In 2006, Bob Parker joined the company as a partner and took on the role of Sales Director.
July 2013 saw Len Hammond retire and had Bob Parker take over the everyday running of Plastafab.
Barry O’Byrne joined Plastafab in July 2013 as our Operations Manager. Barry has brought with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of the industry.
During September 2013, Plastafab again relocated to a newer, modern and larger premises in John Street Welshpool. This move allowed for expansion and an increase of production capabilities.
Since the inception of Plastafab Pty Ltd, we have supplied the stationery and printing industries as well as several corporate clients. We currently supply clients in every state of Australia from our Western Australian factory.
Plastafab Pty Ltd has continually been at the forefront with respect to research and development into new technology and products, which has allowed Plastafab to constantly be a market leader in Australia. We pride ourselves on innovation and customer service.
